Special Education

Students with special needs often have different educational needs than their typical peers. Under federal law and state law, every student is entitled to a freeĀ  appropriate public education. Our office’s special education practice ensures that each child receives an appropriate education by:

  • Providing representation at CSE/CPSE meetings
  • Conducting reviews of Individual Education Plan (IEP) to ensure that necessary services are provided to the student according to his/her unique needs
  • Providing representation at impartial hearings
  • Assisting in developing appropriate transition plans
